As a registered voter in Contra Costa, you should receive a vote-by-mail ballot before the elections. You can send it in by mail (be sure to postmark it before the election day - no postage necessary!), drop it off at a secure voter drop-box (the city's website can give you info on the locations), or hand it in at a polling location.

You will be assigned a polling location based on your residential address. You can find your polling place by checking your voter registration card and info. For a list of polling places by city, visit: https://www.contracostavote.gov/elections/election-day-polling-places/
The Primary Election is on June 2nd, 2026. Shall a candidate win the majority, i.e. more than 50% of the votes then they shall win the seat. If no clear winner is chosen, then the two candidates with the highest number of votes will go on the ballot for a runoff General election on November 3rd, 2026. Note: If a winner is selected outright in June then there shall not be an election in November.
Manmeet Singh is running to bring the leadership styles the community and city needs. Safety, housing, and a greater civic voice are some things that needs work. He will push to create a safer Richmond, an affordable housing market, and a collective civic voice in local government.
